Description

App hungs up if offline map is selected. App always hungs up at start-up of the app once offline map view is set. I need to uninstall and reinstall the app to recover.
My 2 Android phones show the issue, but another android tablet can show offline map.

App hang when bring-up occurs both sharp sh-m29 (Android 16) and Sharp A202SH, but doesn't occur on Samsung sm-x510 tablet (Android 16).
Some users in Japan report the same in Google App feedback as you see, maybe it's region dependent, just my guess though.

Hello,
thank you for your message. After investigating, we found out that the issue is caused by a compatibility problem with Tangram, the external mapping library we use for the offline maps, which does not seem to work correctly on Sharp devices. This is unfortunately not something we are able to fix on our end.
We would recommend using online maps on your Sharp devices.

Hi Olga,

Thanks for sharing and identifying the cause. That's should be the reason my Samsung tablet works well.
It's unfortunate that it's beyond what you can fix. I wish the compatibility problem with Tangram library would be updated sometime in the future.
