Cannot open gpx file
Description
I used to download gpx files and then use the track in GPX Viewer. Now the app refuses to load a track that worked fine previously.
Message: this is not a gpx , kmz , etcetera file

Hello, thank you for contacting us. If you have Android 11, please make sure that you have granted GPX Viewer PRO permission to manage external storage. It is asking for this permission when you open File browser and select tab "File browser" (left most tab). If it does not work, please uninstall GPX Viewer PRO and install it again and please record a video of opening files in GPX Viewer PRO using this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hecorat.screenrecorder.free. It will help us understand what is happening on your device. Thank you.

Tomas Vajda, thank you for your answer. I did grant permission to manage external storage, but now I suspect that this grant was revoked by Android 'after a long period of inactivity'. Probably GPX-Viewer thinks the grant was still valid and therefore did not give any indication of the missing grant. So, in the end no re-installation was needed, only re-establisment of the grant.
A test in GPX-Viewer for this situation could be helpful. Thanks for the support, this case can be closed for now.
