Good morning,
thank you for reporting your issue. The distance markers can actually lead to freeze of the app in case there is a high overload of the markers on the track. Could you please test out if application crashes without using them and let us know if the problem persists also in this way? And in the meanwhile I will talk to our product manager to test it out on our end and for us to see how we can fix it.

Thank you very much for the absolutely quick response. I plan to test the application without distance markers turned on, as well without direction markers turned on. In the mean time, i tried recording of the path (i was not following the pre-loaded GPX track), and the application behaved with the same issues i mentioned before => application being restarted, map zoomeed out. I had to manualy zoom in after each restart of application. Interesting thing though was, that recording was uninterrupted and shown the full recodring time. Will be back with further data and info. i confirm that issue persist even if the distance markers and direction markers on track are disabled.
Application restarts and reopens the same GPX file previously loaded, zooms out. Then to follow the track, i need to zoom in, and the process repeats. The restarts/reloads of GPX are irregular, sometimes application continues working 30 minuts without issue, sometimes it restars and relaods the gpx file 5 times in 2 minutes. I observed, that increased amount of restart/reload of GPX file is mostly on crossroads or whether the azimuth is changing sharply. Next time, i will try to use GPX file created and imported from different route maker. I will report on any changes. Thank you, regards, Marian

I m facing same issue, i would add for example, if i have phone vertical and turn it horizontal look like it relad track and i loose current zoom...

I have sent files in separate email. Iam adding, that now i suspect the issue root cause is more like the other user above is saying => the issue is easily recreated when device changes position from horizontal (landscape) to vertical (portrait) and vice versa. App restarts, reloads the GPX file and zooms out.

I tryed remove cache and datas, but does not fix issue, each time i switch phone from vertical to horizontal, vice versa, it reload track and loose the zoom

Bug seems to be fixed with last update
