Description

Hi, during an offroad rally in Romania, I was using GPX Viewer PRO on my Motorola Razr 50. Mounted horizontally to the tower of my Adventure bike. Most of the time, on screen showed I was riding downwards. It constantly went wrong, swapping North and South. Very confusing to navigate, follow gps activated and deactivated, app restartd, nothing helped. The next day I was able to mount the phone vertically, problem solved.

Just wanted to let you know.

Hello, thank you for this report. Could I ask you to try enabling/disabling option Settings -> GPS -> Rotate map according to GPS. This could help resolving this issue.

This is exactly what I did and it didn't help. Thanks.

Hi, thank you for your answer. I am sorry for this late answer. You can also try to calibrate compass on your device. Maybe it will help in this regard. On this website you can find instructions how to calibrate compass on your your device and other sensors: https://calibratecompass.com . I hope this helps you.
