Description

Dear developer, I'm using your great pro version on a Huawei and Oppo cell phone.
During recording a hike live, I switch of the screen for saving power. The Huawei phone is getting on recording the way I walk in every detail fine, the Oppo A 54 stops tracking - just going on when I switch on the screen again. Only the straight line between last using the active screen is then show and finally recorded. I tried out to modify all settings I could find. Do you have any idea, what else I can do? Regards, Torsten

Good afternoon,
please check this part of our manual that talks about battery optimization. Usually that is the issue for turning off the recording when the screen is off. You can find it here: https://docs.vecturagames.com/gpxviewer/doku.php?id=docs:faq:how_to:record_track&s[]=important&s[]=note

Kind regards,

Hi there, doesn't help. I tried out every tip, I found in your description. I guess it isn't a problem with the GPS signal, seems to be a problem with the App itself. When the display is switched dark, no track is recording. I also tried out both apps you recommended in your answer - gps locker didn't helped, and memory locker doesn't exist any longer for the modern android versions.
I don't have any problems with other apps like google maps etc. You have any idea?

Good afternoon,
we are sorry for remaining inconvenience, this case is rare. Could you please try to reinstall your app and send us as well the gpx with recorded track, so we can see if there is any point that might have triggered it. If I understand correctly, you have lost some part of track in the middle? So the beginning and the end of the track are still there?

Kind regards,
